Signs That You May Have Been Drugged
What To Do If You Think You Have Been Drugged
What are the effects: Rohypnol is a potent and fast-acting sedative and the effects are noticeable within twenty to thirty minutes after ingestion. It produces drowsiness, confusion, impaired motor skills, impaired judgment and reduced levels of consciousness. The individual may act like someone who is drunk. You may be slurring your speech and have difficulty walking, or you may be completely unconscious. When combined with alcohol, Rohypnol may produce extremely low blood pressure, respiratory depression, difficulty breathing, coma, or even death. It can produce complete or partial amnesia resulting in a loss of memory for events that take place after it is ingested.
What does it look like: Rohypnol is most commonly found in tablet form, oftentimes a small, round, white pill. Some are oval and green-gray in color which may be visible in certain drinks. The pills may also be ground into a powder, or made into liquid form.
